Some stories begin in struggle and arrive at greatness. Mailon Rivera's story is one of them — and it is far from finished.

Born in New York City, Mailon Rivera's real journey began as a former foster child and welfare baby, a reluctant street kid, lifelong B-Boy, and intensely civic-minded teen who eventually — after a few "distractions" — bloomed into an autodidactic, polymathic adult and influential Cultural Creative on a mission. That mission? To transform lives, communities, and systems — one act of alchemy at a time.

Mailon Rivera is a Hollywood actor, producer, creative designer, philanthropist, at-risk adult advocate, and founder of Urban Alchemy 360°. Distinguished by his deep, resonant, and mellifluous voice, Mailon has appeared in over 40 top-rated television programs — including NCIS, CSI: Miami, and The Shield — crossing genres from BET and NBC to HBO and virtually every network in between. He has produced and starred in independent films, voiced dozens of audio projects, booked national commercials, and performed in critically embraced stage productions — including The Murder of Emmett Till: 50 Years Later at the Crossroads Theatre in Santa Monica.

But the screen was never the full picture. Mailon's most enduring performance has always taken place off-camera. As founder of Urban Alchemy 360°, he leads "a curious collective of conspirators, collaborators, and agents of change" — providing creative, production, and even "ghost" services for film, television, music, charities, companies, and artists, all while performing Anonymous Good wherever they can. From producing California NOW's first town hall, to supporting WBAI-FM's historic legacy in New York, to designing campaigns for zero-net energy communities, UA360° has left its quiet, powerful "heartprint" on dozens of organizations. Mailon also hosts The Barefoot Alchemist podcast.

In 2019, Mailon co-founded C4GS-ZEDlife alongside Adria Fox and architect Bill Dunster, grounded in ZEDpower's BedZED eco-village model. As Director of Operations & Culture, he brings storytelling and operational vision to the intersection of climate change and housing equity. When C4GS-ZEDlife won a $1 million California Energy Commission EPIC grant, Mailon put it simply: "These projects are part of a larger effort to create sustainable, intentional, clean energy-generating communities throughout California — with zero energy bills for families who need it most."
